Savusavu airport will be closed for renovations for approximately four months beginning 14 July 2008 and ending approximately 5 November 2008. Respective airlines will operate services to Labasa airport as the nearest alternative for all Savusavu passengers.
Please check with your respective hotels or arrangements for ground transfer details from Labasa airport, to your hotels in Savusavu and Oneness University when you book. Generally pick up will be arranged for oneness participants from Labasa airport to the campus, once you book into the course you will be advised further on the pickup schedules.
For information, if prior transport arrangements have not been made you can catch public buses, taxis or mini buses on a user pay basis. Generally the drive time between Labasa airport to Savusavu is 1.5 to 2 hours.
