VIKRAMJI WEBCAST December 11, 2011 Part I

Vikramji = V

Note: Questions 2 & 3 were read together and then the answers were given. For clarity, I inserted the answers with the appropriate question.

Q1: What is spirituality? Through Siddha Yoga, meditation and Deeksha, I've experienced certain moments of peace and harmony as well as a sensation of well-being with everyone; however, I suddenly stopped practicing these things either because I don't have time or I am lazy, and then I immediately fall back into patterns of anger, ego, etc. . I've been seeking for some time, since I was something like the age of ten, and I still don't know what am I seeking, and where am I going. What is my place on earth? What am I doing here? Sometimes I say "Yes, I'm spiritual," but suddenly I wonder, "What is that? What does it mean to be spiritual? Where does it come from?"

V: Spirituality is being yourself, being comfortable with whatever you are, getting in touch with yourself. So whenever you progress in spirituality, you go to a peak state of your growth - it could be an awakened state, but just a good state; you enter that state and then you come down. So once your Kundalini raises and comes down, automatically you go into sometimes - you go into depression, sometimes you become lazy, sometimes you don't want to put any effort, sometimes you go into a low. Since you've gone into a height suddenly when your Kundalini dips you feel a bit low, you feel a bit lazy - it's a temporary phase.

Again, you put in more effort and you have to move forward. You must practice meditation, and then the Deeksha does the trick; it awakens your Kundalini properly. The Kundalini what it delivers depends on what you learn, how much you practice your teaching, how much you are progressing spiritually by working on your relationships, by doing meditations, and the Deeksha finally delivers the results.

Everyone including Buddha and the great ones, all the awakened beings, go through the state of spiritual suffering where they don't find any meaning in their life, no purpose in their life, they have all these questions. We call them fundamental questions; they don't have any answers. What am I doing here? Where am I? What is my purpose of life? These things have no answers. Everybody before they become awakened they go through this pain, through this spiritual suffering, and through that they develop passion and they become awakened.

Q2: When doing the Wealth Process we were reminded to use auspicious language because when you say, "I don't have money" the Universe says "I am that," and that is exactly what you'll get. Now I have a dilemma. We have also been taught to accept, embrace, whatever is there. When there is a real situation of lack or shortage of any kind: be it health, money, love - how do I reconcile the need to use auspicious words without stopping to feel, see, embrace and observe what life is at times? Presenting to me a shortage or lack of something? Can we really have that life that we want?

The next part of the question spoken here is written below the answer to this part.

V: (We will come to the first [actually second] question: why you are in a dilemma of staying with what is, and what I should ask and all that.) Staying with the what is with the internal world it is connected to the spiritual world, but seeking health and money, love all these are external realities or material things of the mind. Internally, the truth is you don't have health, but what you must convey to the Divine is you need health, you need money, and you need love. It must be a positive approach in the external world. And you must seek for it, ask for it. You saying that "I need money, I have money, I have this, I have that," you're conveying to the Divine that please give me all these things to make me happy.

In the internal world, in your spiritual life, you must realize that how you lack passion and you stay with the truth that you lack passion, you lack humility, you lack all those qualities - the 21 prerequisites that we talk of. It is very difficult for the mind to stay with the truth, but when you are forced and when you stay with the inner truth, then your Kundalini responds leading into awakening. Staying in the truth that you lack passion, you lack humility; you'll grow in humility and passion respective.

So in the external world instead of saying that I am sick, I don't have money, I don't have love, you must say that I am a healthy person, I am a wealthy person, l have a lot of wealth and prosperity. Through all that you're conveying to Amma and Bhagavan that you have to get wealth and prosperity you are saying to yourself "I am that". The Divine also blesses you to get that.

In the internal world, in the spiritual world, there is no - nothing called a shortage. There is only that you lack passion, you lack this, you don't have this, and in staying in that truth you become awakened. If you already have that you must have become awakened by now, if you have all those 21 prerequisites; for the lack of each one of those will push you, staying in that truth, will push you towards awakening.

Q3: The bond with the Divine is most important. From that intimate and authentic relationship I believe we can be co-creators. I'm celebrating a new relationship with my Divine, and for that matter seeking the help of AmmaBhagavan. I have asked them for something small, a manifestation that will strengthen my faith and will be a proof that they are really listening to me, but right now I feel they are not listening. What could be the reason?

V: The bond with your Divine is very important, with your Amma and Bhagavan (I'm going into the second answer).  So if you feel your Amma and Bhagavan are not listening, or your Divine is not responding, then check your relation with your parents and your perception of the Divine. If you're not receiving anything from your parents and you have this perception "I don't get anything from my parents," the seeing will also be perceive from the Divine that I don't get anything from the Divine, the Divine will not give me anything. Your own perception is creating that block for the Divine to help you.

So check on your relation with your parents, how do you perceive them? Do they respond to you in a warm way, in a loving way? And check your perception of what you have towards life. Do you feel like your life and the Universe gives everything to you or they do not give you everything? They buy and break you and then they give to you; what is your perception about life? What is your perception about God? Check all these aspects then you'll be able to achieve things in your life. The first step I would suggest is the blessing of your parents. Seek for that and then everything will fall into place, and then your Divine would start responding to you.

Note: The questions were read one after the other; to help with understanding, the answers have been moved to follow the original questions.

VIKRAM  WEBCAST PART 2 DEC 11/2011

Q1: Even though there has been a spiritual and emotional awakening, why can't I flow in my business and family life?

V: Awakening is a journey; it's a never ending journey, and it requires continuous application spiritually. You continue to work on your meditations, on your relationships, on your connection with your Divine – and the most important aspect is inner integrity. Why? Staying and confronting your inner truth, by staying with yourself, or else you're only moving into a temporary state, spiritually or emotionally, into an awakened state, and then once you come down you are the same old person, there has not been any change in you.

So if you're able to focus on your spiritual growth, continue to focus, but you feel there is a break in your spiritual growth, then shift to focusing on your business and your family life. Again, after a while you'll get in touch with your spiritual suffering. Then get back to your spiritual awakening. Sometimes, when you are spiritually growing, you'll feel there is a break in your spiritual growth, for  [tape breaks up] at that time you take that break, use it for your business or for your family life. Then once you are doing your business and a family life, once again you`ll get in touch with your existential suffering, then get back to your spiritual suffering and continue to grow spiritually. So you keep [tape breaks up] at both these levels.

So this is not a big part - see how you can do it both in a balanced way and see that you do both. It's important to balance both these worlds; because until your self is fulfilled, it will not give way for your awakening. For you to let go you must be fulfilled; you must be satisfied; then you will be able to grow spiritually also.

Q2: Sometimes, I feel on top of the crest of the wave of consciousness; other times I feel totally lost, and I can't find the way out; what can I do?

Q3: Why is it that sometimes I feel like I'm going forward in the spiritual path and then suddenly I feel I'm going backwards? (And I want to express my gratitude to this experience of giving and receiving, thanks to Deeksha.)

V: And for the other questions [Q2 and Q3]: every time you go into a peak state, again there is a small dip, again you'll continue to grow; it's a never ending journey of ups and downs. What keeps you growing, or what keeps you moving forward, is your relation with your parents, your blessing of your parents, a strong bond with your inner Divine, and inner integrity - staying with your truth. This will take you to the next peak. Like that you will have so many peaks before you become awakened. So do not fall back. Continue to put efforts and keep growing. And know that every up has a down, and every down will take you further up.

Q4: My experience with Deeksha is that when I am with a meditation group and they give Deeksha, a few minutes before I feel some hands of giant energy over my head, but in my personal life I haven't had big changes. I have a family: two sons of 19 and 7 years of age and a daughter who is 4. I have had many conflicts with my oldest son and my husband; it makes me sad not to be able to enjoy a healthy life and not being able to applying of all teachings that are shared in the group.

I see very, very much violence in the neighborhood where I live they're stealing, breaking in homes, theft of cars, robberies on ??? and businesses, ???-trips, fistfights among neighbors, and much more. I see a lot of chaos wherever I look or whatever I read or find out in any way. I live in constant fear for my family, for all the people in the neighborhood, for the whole world, and the only thing I can do that gives me hope that this will get solved is praying.
I feel desperate with all this situation. I would like to be less vulnerable in this situation. I only pray that this will end, and I feel hope with the end of this cycle and the beginning of a new era filled with peace and love, which I crave. Please ask for a lot of light for me, my family and my surroundings.

V: Yes. This year, 2012, is going to be tough for all the people in the world. These problems have been intensifying over a period of time. It may pick up a little bit of speed; things may become a little more intense, or they may start reducing in the coming years. Within a few years all things are liable to change. For all the beautiful changes to come, for us to have peace, we need to have a strong connection with our inner Divine, and the whole world must undergo transformation. For that, we have to work on the 70,000 awakened Beings that we are creating in 2012; all this is only going to bring about that peace.

So, family-wise life is cornering you, spiritually life is cornering you, economically life is cornering you - at all levels life is cornering you - expecting you to change, to transform, and move towards awakening. Seeing all this will only help you to transform and to become awakened. It depends on how much all of us are ready to cooperate with the Divine; how much all of us want to change our lives? So, I will anyway pray for Lupida that all these things must happen soon for all of us and throughout the whole world.

So whenever you experience fear, confront that fear, go into the origin of that fear, just as you stay with that fear, with the physical sensations in the body, with the emotion of fear, with a series of thoughts that you are having of this fear - this fear has an origin in your life and it has a continuous series of thoughts - stay with all that. That will put you in touch with all the violence inside, with all your disturbing emotions sourced in fear. And as you confront your inner truth you attain inner peace and peace in your family. And once you become awakened there is a Divine aura around you, you start harmonizing with the whole planet, and you and your family and the people around you will be naturally protected from danger, and you will be easily able to pass through these dangerous situations even if they come into your life, and Amma and Bhagavan will help you to attain that peace inside.

Q5: I became a Deeksha giver five months ago and have some questions regarding what happens to me every day: Is it normal to feel all the energy in the middle of the eyebrow, the Agnya chakra, when I mediate?

The second one is: does the sixth sense increase with Deeksha?

The third is: is it enough to send intent Deeksha everyday to the people I love to raise their level of consciousness?
Thank you very much.

V: So we will go to the first question. This particular response of the chakras changes from person to person, depending on their own life experiences. So, Norma is experiencing that in the middle of the eyebrow, we call it the Agnya chakra, the sixth chakra. This is a very good response of that chakra and it is normal, for you it is normal, the chakra is responding very naturally.

Also, it is important to work on other chakras so that the Kundalini responds leading you into awakening. The most important aspect always remains: staying with inner integrity, working on your relation with your parents, becoming more and more comfortable with yourself and your relationships, and work on your perceptions about life, about God. Develop a friendly relation with your inner Divine, with your personal God. All the chakras start responding quickly as you meditate.

Sixth sense, we also call it intuition or Divine guidance, it will increase with Deeksha. Deeksha will make you put in touch with yourself, giving you insights and realizations into your life. You must stay with those insights; allow that realization that inside to completely break you apart, liberating you. Sometimes when we receive Deeksha, we get in touch with high energies; in that excitement we forget to work on ourselves. It is important to work on yourself; you continue to work on yourself, to have these breakthroughs. I was saying, that your connection improves, as you continue to work on yourself, all this will lead into intuitions, or the sixth sense as we were talking.

Just by sending intent Deeksha you cannot raise the level of consciousness of others around you too high; it is only a slow progress. But definitely you connect - you continue to affect them spiritually, but it is a slow movement. The best approach would be you becoming awakened, and through that you can help your family members or the people around you, or you can get in touch with those people, converse with them, educate them, give them Deekshas and through that also you will help them grow spiritually.

It is awakening happens through hard work, through internal effort, staying with your inner truth - whatever it is, the content is not important - are you able to stay with it? Are you able to see it? That is most important; that will give you a breakthrough; that will awaken the Kundalini leading into awakened states. And as you regularly move into awakened states, it stabilizes in awakening.

So intent Deeksha would help the level of consciousness, but it's a slow progress. The best approach would be you becoming awakened and then you continue to affect them. That is a little difficult? Then, you have to educate them: make them practice the teachings; help them work on their relationships, and guide their connection with their inner Divine so that they develop a personal bond.
